will I absolutley have to hem or surge the edges? I bought a stack at the dollar store today and I'm planning on cutting them into wipes sizes. Anyone had any luck not finishing the edges of microfiber? I figure I'll ask before I cut them and find a pile of thread in my washer afterwards!
Oh also, how big of wipes have you ladies made? Would a 6x12 rectangle be an obnoxious size or should I stick with squares. The towels I bought are 12 inches square so I thought I'd cut them in half.
TIA!

Not only shouldn't microfiber touch baby's skin, it's an absolute biitch to cut. Fuzzies EVERYfreakingWHERE. And, yes, you'll have to serge it. I kind of doubt that overcasting would even help.
Sorry...no love for the microfiber here.
A good size for wipes is either 8x8 or 8x6.
