Private blog question

I have 2 blogs under 2 dif. email addresses.  I have a "family" blog with pictures and updates for our families.  I also have our TTC/MC/Preg blog, the one listed in my link.  I desperately want to keep those 2 separate because I want my identity anonymous on here and I don't want our families to stumble on my private blog somehow and figure out it's me.

So I made my personal blog private.  How do I make it so when you click on it, you can have an email sent to me so I can allow you to read it?  I have a handful of regular blog readers and I don't know their email addresses so I don't know how to add them.

I'm not sure how. I just have people email me and I add them. Perhaps they can PM here to share their address with you privately.

I *think* you have to add their email address and then when they try to get on the blog it will ask for their email to enter. I started a baby blog and I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
