Dr Appointment Today - AW...shock!

I had my first internal (how fun!) today which was full of pressure...ouch! But outside of that, not as bad as I thought it would be!

The AW news is that I am dilated to about a 1, thinning and the Dr. could feel her head...eek!! Way more progress than I expected!!!!! 

Anyone feel like sharing where they were dilation/thinning wise at just shy of 37 weeks???

Well at 37 weeks I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced and was stuck there until my water broke at 40 weeks 1 day. Sorry I know that is probably not what you wanted to hear.

I am not sure what I want to hear! I am anxiously awaiting her arrival but not sure if I am ready just yet!

That is great! I was a slow mover, so no experience here. Keep us updated!!

?I didn't dialate at all with my girls, so not much excitement here.

I was about 50% effaced, I think, but only fingertip dilated, and stayed that way until we kicked Ben out with the Pitocin!

At 37 weeks I was dilated to a 4 and was 100% effaced! ?I was induced two weeks later. ?I think I was told that dr. could feel his head right at 36 weeks and that is a GOOD thing. ?Means the baby is definitely engaged and going in the right direction. ?Headed south!
