What is a good site to make your own website/blog?

I have seen some people start a blog or website to post photos of maternity and then baby pics and news for family and friends. What is a good site to do this on?

I use Shutterfly.com you can make your own personal site for pics and have news updates, there's really a lot of things you can do.  Plus, people can download the pics to their computer or use Shutterfly to print them off which I thought was nice so it doesn't loose the quality.

I love blogspot - it makes me look way more computer savvy than I am.  A lot of people like wordpress too.
