Attn Houstonians: Anyone know of...

a good spot for bluebonnet pictures? I want to take a family picture in the bluebonnets.

I hope it isn't too late since we are getting a nasty cold front and more rain. Anyway I know of tons of places along hwy 6, but I was wondering if there were some good spots in the houston area.

TIA!

  • My mom said that they are great out on 105 (Conroe) that might be kinda far for you though.  I think we are going to try and find a spot this weekend too.  I will PM you if I find one!

  • There's usually a good picture taking patch in The Woodlands at the corner of Lake Woodlands and Sterling Ridge Dr. Low traffic, and a large area to work with. I haven't seen much on 105, but maybe they weren't blooming last time I drove down that way.
  • I think the really good places for bluebonnets are out 290 on the way to Brenham and out I-10 towards Sealy. ?I can't think of anywhere in town that would have a bunch. ?Although like PP said 105 would probably be a good bet in between Conroe and Navasota.
