Congrats! Haha! The first thing I did after my 3 hr, test results or no, I got a snickers bar. The way I saw it was, in two more days, I might not be able to have one, so I figured I'd better get it in.
Luckily I passed the 3hr, no problem.
Aren't you glad to have that done and over with! One more thing to not have to worry about.?
Awesome!! What'd you have for breakfast that morning?
I had 2 scrambled eggs (with some cheese in them - yum!) and 2 pieces of turkey sausage. And a big glass of water. I usually drink milk for b-fast, but I was so paranoid about the little bit of carbs in it. hahaha
Congrats and ditto on the question: What did you have for breakfast / the day before?
Mine is on Monday and I'm freaking out
See above for breakfast menu. Also, a word of warning from my sister: she passed her 1-hour for her first two, but failed for her 3rd baby (passed the 3-hour). She blames me! LOL It was while I was planning my wedding and we went for cake tasting the day before her test. Don't know if that caused it, but maybe don't go on sugar overload the day before if you're worried about passing. Good luck!!
That is great! I just took mine this am. How long did it take for them to get to you with the results?
I took the test on Tuesday. My dr. office never calls with test results unless there is a problem, but I called a little bit ago to make sure they came in (because I had blood work done and I need to stop by to pick up my script for the Rhogam shot) and I asked about the glucose because I really wanted to know. The place where I got it done said that my dr. should have the results from them within 1-2 days, so they probably had it yesterday... I just didn't call until today.

Congratulations!!! Am I the only one who are carbs without fear before the test? I had a cinnamon eggo with peanut butter, milk, and a banana and got a 91.
awesome!! isn't it a great feeling...my SIL had GD & i saw how annoying it was for her (to keep checking her sugar, etc) so I was soo excited when I passed mine!!

I didn't even wait for my results to treat my self to some icecream and chocolate syrup
.. as soon as the test was over I found myself at Cold Stone
