I mean, I'm glad we have *some* but I swear, with the amount we're paying out and the amount of time I have to spend chasing down bills and whatnot, its a friggin joke.
I just sat here and added up all of the bills that I got from prenatal care, to giving birth. So far, with insurance, we've paid out over $4500. AND, to make it a little worse, my DH's benefits card just denied a claim because it was 2 days before the "plan year" started. SIXTY EFFING CENTS. So, because of this denial, they have denied payment on other things I've submitted, which now makes me late on some of these bills, incurring late fees. I call the company to pay my whopping $.60 bill with them, and they don't have a card machine, so I have to MAIL A CHECK for $.60 to get that cleared up. Are you effing serious?! Meanwhile, my other accounts are now going to be past due. Nice.
I should mail them change....
Re: I hate insurance
You have to be effing kidding me!!! You know how much that .60 is costing to "process." You know how much it costs to process a check? They should be writing off anything under at least $100 because pretty much anything under that it costs more to 'collect'.
Yeah I say you send them pennies.
I'm SORRY! I thought I had it rough...my insurance keeps changing but I'm not having to deal with that!
LOVING the new siggies EMT!!!
Yeah, can you believe it?! I mean REALLY???? And they didn't even send an email-I found out because I went to pick up a script, and they denied my card. So I call and find all this out. Over SIXTY cents. I was raging pissed off, and to make it worse, the person on the phone was a total moron.
I heard this story on the news this week about a guy who got a speeding ticket, and for his payment, he sent $200 in pennies, in a box, covered in urine. I laughed so hard.....
