How early did you hear HB on doppler?

My next appt is on 4/7 and I will be a little shy of 10 weeks. I'm just wondering if my OB will try to use the doppler at that appt or if it will be too early.

We heard it at 10 weeks which is early. I went to the dr. because I wasn't feeling well and asked him if we could try. He said it was early but he would try and we heard it. Most dr's wait till about 12 weeks or so.

Hey ellenaxo! At my last appt I was 7w6d and they did an internal u/s with the dopplar and we got to hear it and see it. Maybe they will do it that way for you? It wouldn't hurt to ask. I haven't heard it from an outside dopplar just yet but I go back on the 1st so I can let you know then.

My OB found it at about 11 1/2 weeks, but I couldn't get it at home until about a week later.

9w3d at the dr. office, but at 10w2d with our home doppler.

I have to say that my doctor spoiled me, when I went in for my 10 week appt, she has a rule that she won't let you leave until she gets that heartbeat, she couldn't get in on the doppler so she pulled me in quickly for an ultrasound to check, and it was there....but my guess is they will try.
