Anyone else taking this and it's helping? I'm exhausted. I tried taking 2 Tylenol PM last night and then didnt do anything. Is it worth calling my dr and asking for a prescription or should I just tough it out?
You get Unisom OTC, I get the Walmart Equate brand.
I took it during late 1st and early 2nd with my morning sickness, and just recently started taking it again as needed. For me, it doesn't really "knock me out" - but once I do fall asleep, I sleep a lot heavier and wake up really groggy so if I wake up in the middle of the night to pee or adjust I can fall back asleep so much easier than if I wasn't on meds (usually when I haven't taken anything and wake up, I have a hard time going back to bed). It only lasts about 8-9 hours in my system too, so it doesn't make me a walking zombie for the whole next day like some of the stronger meds out there.
They have it in a few forms - pill, gel caps and dissolving melts. I was told to get the pill form (it only has 25mg of the medicine as opposed to the gel form which has 50mg).
