Getting presents in the mail!

I've started getting gifts in the mail...and, so far,  they are all decorative pieces for our nursery!!

I know my "surprise" shower is soon, not only because of the gifts, but because my mom told me I need to get the house ready for stuff and she needs to decorate THIS WEEKEND.

As I've said before, my family sucks at the surprise thing.

 I was already thinking it would probably be next weekend (1st in April)...but mom just sealed it. I'll be delighted and surprised anyway when I see everyone and all the work they've done.

I mentioned it to DH and he got this look on his face like 'Please don't ask me anymore cause I'm a bad lier!"

 

We've been packing stuff away and cleaning house...I can't believe we're here already!! We've been talking about the big clean-out weekend for MONTHS!!

Mom did help us get a good start....even if she did try to take my laundry (see yesterday's post).

thats awesome. I had my first shower last night and it was a "surprise" as well. (Things were off of my registry since before my big shower invites went out and a co-worker let a little bit slip!) Have fun at your shower!

its kinda nice to have a heads up on the surprise shower...mine was a couple weeks ago, and that morning I felt spunky and actually curled my hair and put make up on...man was that a relief! I think i would have cried if all those people would have seen me in my faded yoga pants (faded b/c I wash them so often b/c they are so comfy) and a pony tail!
