DD has not been eating much this week and nursing isn't going very well either. She is not draining even one side in the mornings. I am suspecting it is teething, but how long is this going to last. I don't want her to lose weight while teething. I am getting a little concerned. Any ideas? She hasn't been overly fussy, but a little whiney at times.
Re: Not eating when teething?
It's actually pretty common.
Try the Hyland's teething tablets if you haven't already. Those seemed to take the edge off for Will and he would tend to eat a bit more.
DS doesn't like to suck when he's teething, either. If he's not eating + whiny + waking up a lot at night, I have the pedi check his ears--I've been right about ear infections twice now. If she continues to not be herself, that may be another possibility.
