Eating during the night question

How long is too long w/out a bottle? DS is 2 1/2 months old & he can sleep for like 12 hours w/out eating! I don't know if that's too long or if I should wake him once to eat. Any suggestions?

    most docs say once they have reached their birth weight and are gaining weight well you don't need to wake them during the night....lucky!
