I know that while exercising ones heart rate should, ideally, be around 140 and be able to hold a conversation. Has anyones OB given them an upper limit for heart rate at rest/during normal activity? TIA ladies.
I've had heart trouble in my 3rd trimester, which is why I've been on bedrest for 2 months. I've been diagnosed with maternal sinus tachychardia (a rapid heart rate). My doctor said that normally, a pregnant woman's heart rate should not go much above 100 (during normal activity) and should be lower than that at rest.
Mine is about 112-116 at rest, and anywhere between 120-150 when doing any physical activity (not exercising, but like walking to the mailbox, etc).
