OMG..I saw a kid getting jumped!!

On our way back from the doctor (they don't know what's wrong with K, no sign of virus or infection), we saw a bunch of school kids out near this park. Dh says, "Oh my God, that kid is getting beat up." At least three other kids were hitting him and he was on the ground.I made h blow the horn repeatedly, and I called 911. There were plenty of other kids around AND the bus driver was there. No one was doing anything. It was so hard to see. I wasn't about to get out because kids carry weapons these days, and I'm not risking my or my husband's life over that. The good thing is that I probably wasn't the first to call 911 because there was a cop arriving within 30 seconds of my phone call. Yikes!!

How sad! When I was in middle school my mom pulled over to give a kid a ride because he was running away from some kids. We didn't know him, but he must have been pretty scared to get in to a stranger's car.
