okay - this might be a dumb question

Does your mucus plug always have to be bloody or can it just look like mucus?   I'm 10 days from my due date and I'm thinking I'm losing my mucus plug; but this is my first and I'm not sure if I'm not just imagining this!  Help a crazy!  Thanks

    with our first mine was just mucus (GROSS!) I don't think I ever had a bloody show - at least that I can remember!  My water broke the next morning and 12 hours later we had our little boy!!!  GL!
