Walmart is cheaper all around- especially if you don't use coupons (since they don't do double or triples).
Kroger/Albertsons are pretty much tied in my book if I adhere to my "couponing".
Target: They're a little more expensive, and I tend to spend more money there since they have so much other stuff. I only grocery shop here if I only need a couple of things.
As concerned I am with prices, I do not shop at Wal*Mart. I have found that around here the products (such as produce, dairy etc) are not fresh. I witnessed a customer return milk (who knows how long it was "out" of the fridge or for what reason) and they just put it back on the shelves. Ew. I don't know I am weird about those things. So we typically shop at costco (that saves money also) and at Central Market and Target occasionally.
I swear by Tom Thumb...but only buy what my rewards card will save me on. I will stock up on things like cereal, peanut butter, etc at Walmart but think their produce is really bad. My Tom Thumb veggies last a week longer than my Walmart ones and if I shop sales, they are the same price!
Re: super target vs. walmart/kroger..who's cheaper in groceries?
