You may want to call the doc-- those sound like contrax. ?AND w/ decreased movement, it could be the cord around the neck-- that's exactly what happened to me. ?He was totally fine ?Good luck!!
Even with it being non stop since this morning. Like now a minute here and then again 10 minutes later. It is continuous cramping.
I did try to call the DR after the 1st reply. They are gone for the day. I think im gonna lay down for a few minutes see if I can get her to move. If not I can call the Dr on call.
I feel like we are labor buddies -- aren't you measuring about 3 weeks ahead like me? I remember answering your post a few weeks ago...
Anyway, I saw my Dr yesterday and I'm now measuring 41 weeks, am 3-4 cm and 60% effaced. I lost my mucus plug this morning and since then I have been feeling cramps in my lower belly. I tried timing them and they are about 10-15 minutes apart and only lasting about 10 seconds. My dr said to call back when they are 4-5 min apart but it's been all day and they haven't gotten closer!!
Yup, that was me! Measuring a little over 3 weeks ahead!! The Dr checked me a week and a half ago and not dilated at all! I have to go tomorrow for a non stress test because i had a sono on monday that showed the baby was 6 lb 15 oz and I also had a lot of fluid around her.
I worked L&D and ANY time there is decreased movement you should ALWAYS call the doc! Don't mess around, it's always better to be safe than sorry!!
My DR has been saying she should move 3 times in an hour. She never does. She get spurts of energy where she moves like crazy then it is hours before I hear from her again! I just felt one kick about 5 minutes ago, but that was it.
Ohhh, one more question if you dont mind me asking since you are in L&D. I am having a scheduled csection. If I go into labor early how long do you think I would have to get to the hospital? I was in labor with DD #1 for 36 hours before ending in c section
That's a tough question. Second labors can be WAY faster. Since you are a repeat C/S, if you start having noticeable contractions, I would just call to see what your doc recommends. For vag deliveries for baby #2, we would say come in when your contractions are 10mins apart for an hour. You definetly wouldn't want to wait around too long because if you get the and the baby's close, it would be a really rushed and probably not super pleasant experience.
I'm not trying to scare you or anything, there's just not a "right" answer for that. What I would do is if I was noticing contractions coming somewhat regularly, I would call. Then you'd probably go in and they'd see if you were still contracting and what your cervix is and then get things ready for the section. Sorry I don't have a better answer

I hope the end is near for both of us
