Did you look at the picture of your son with the big white spot on his eye that shows up on that picture?  I don't want to freak you out but read the second clicky I remember not to long ago getting a e-mail regarding this.  I truly hope it is nothing but I would get it checked out.

Parents should look out for a white pupil in the middle of the eye that is picked up with reflection from a flash that is not normal.

Oops, I misread your OP.  I don't know what to think or say.  You'd think with all the hundreds of pics I take of him, that would have happened once before.  I need to give this some thought.  Thanks for pointing it out.

I didn't/don't want to freak you out I just remember the e-mail I got that someone sent a picture to her friend & she questioned the white spot & it turned out that the girl did have this & same thing her Mom said she had taken so many pictures & it just happened to be this one that she sent out that picked up the white spot.  Nothing hurt in asking your dr about it, maybe take that picture with you, really hope it is nothing.
