My dr. is out of the office today but another dr. in the practice called me back regarding the contractions. She didn't seemed very worried but told me that if I experience them again tonight to go to L&D to get on the moniter to make sure I wasn't dialating or anything. She said that this is the normal time where BH become more frequent and can be painful.  My dr. is going to be calling me back tomorrow to follow up. I am hoping that maybe he will see me to check to make sure these BH aren't doing anything to my cervix.

I would definitely talk to your doctor tomorrow and ask to be checked. I'm sure everything is okay through. Did the other doc give you a limit? My doc says no more then 4 in an hour. Also if they incompress my whole stomach and/or come with lower back pain I'm suppose to call.

I'm glad that you said this. I was wondering that and I was trying to emphasize the fact that they were extremely painful and more like the contractions that I felt when I was in labor with my daughter than the normal BH that I feel. I am going to push to be check tomorrow. She didn't give me a limit she just said that if I feel them again tonight to go straight to L&D.

When you started having them how did they begin?

Hopefully they stay away, but it would be good to be checked by your doctor tomorrow anyway for peace of mind!
