I don't mean to judge but..

in 3rd Trimester
We had our first birthing class on Tuesday and there was a couple in there, the mom had to have been at least in her 50's, I mean grey hair, wrinkles, the works, and the dad had to have beet all n a good 10+ years older than she is!  No wedding rings on either one...and the doula had us go around and tell what we wanted to get out of the class and the man said "I'm just here because she wants me here"  haha it was awkward....I felt bad, the woman seemed so uncomforable, what a weird situation..It was weird seeing such a 'mature' woman with a big ol baby bump!

    There was an older couple in my class too!  The dad said they'd never planned on having kids, but, surprise!  I don't think I'd want everyone knowing the baby was an accident...

    Wow, judge all you want! 50 is way too old to have a baby. People that age really should adopt!  The womans body simply isnt' set up for child baring after a key age.
