BH very painful?

I notice my BH more frequently now but they usually are not painful. Just annoying. Last night I had 2 that were so painful that they woke me up in the middle of the night. It hurt so bad that I could barely breath. I never noticed BH with my DD only real labor pains so I don't know if they are supposed to be this painful. I am going to call my dr's office when they open back from lunch but I would appreciate any input. TIA!

Re: BH very painful?

  • I have been having the same thing for the past two days. I have to close my eyes and breathe through them. I was going to call my doctor too but didn't want to seem like an over paranoyed pregnant woman.

  • I had pain with mine last Friday night. My back hurt with it too. But it passed. I am asking my doc when I go in today. I have read that sometime BH can be painful but most of the time they are not. This was the first time  this happened. (my 1st child)

  • I too have just starting noticing my BH's, although mine aren't painful.  I honestly don't like to experience them - wish i was one of those women who didn't notice them at all. :)  I just hate that you're told to watch for 5 or more an hour..two go by and your like "OMG!"

I feel like i'm somewhat of a worry wart too so i'm hesitant to call the Dr. over & over again.  I'll be interested to hear what your dr. tells you.  Keep us posted!
