summer plans w/ 1 year old

i am a teacher and will be home with DJ all day for the summer.  i cannot wait!

i am trying to think of all the things we can do throughout the summer.  

however...  i have no idea what a 1 year old can handle through the day.

thoughts?

Oh I wish I had this summer off. I should have had Liam in September Jealous.

 You could go to the Park or Biking. Great time to start swimming lessons.

I agree with the park, taking walks, if you have free days at museums or zoos. Walks to the local library. We are probably getting a kiddie pool this year.

I plan on actually being tan this year because my child is a damn gypsy and wants to be outside all day, everyday. I am buying lots of outside toys and we will probably be in the backyard, at the park, at the beach, in the pool, out for walks, etc. DS can almost walk so his timing should be perfect for the warm weather. The only thing cool we have planned is a trip to Disneyland at the end of June. Otherwise we'll just be kickin' it.
