Babies: 9 - 12 Months

What helped your baby sleep in longer in the am?

DD was doing great. Sleeping 7-7. Lately she's started fussing around 5 or 5:30. We do a dream feed at 10:30 so she shouldn't be hungry & she doesn't act insanely hungry. Sometimes she will go back to sleep for 1-2 hrs. DH always wants to get her up when she starts fussing.

Did an earlier bedtime help anyone? I don't think she's teething or anything.

  • Nothing helped.  DS is up at 5:30am... SHARP.  He doesn't go back either.  Cheers to the early morning mama's

  • well, co-sleeping - she'll sleep until 9am if I do, but seeing as she also woke up to nurse about 4 times last night, I'm currently mentally preparing myself for moving her to the crib and sleep training sometime soon.  Right now getting up earlier seems like a fair trade-off for not waking up several times in the night and for being able to get comfy in my own bed.

True. I will count my blessings. I just stinks b/c she starts fussing an hour before I have to get up. Oh well, at least she's sleeping all night.
