Babies: 9 - 12 Months

DH makes me want to poke his eyes out sometimes!

So my day yesterday was as follows....

Wake up @ 5 a.m., get ready, 1 hr. commute, work 8 hours, 1 hr. commute home, go pick up DD, get home, get DS's homework checked, feed DD nurse and solids, season/marinate meat to cook for dinner, do dishes, play with DD and DS, take walk with DD and DS, give baths, deal with DD who is teething/fussy at end of night, finally sit down around 9 p.m. when DD starts to act tired, (forgot to put the meat in the oven bc I was so caught up with everything else), and DH walks in after working from 4-9 p.m. and doesn't even say hello or how was your day....

DH: "what's for dinner?" with this stupid look on his face

Me: cocks head to side, raises eyebrow, and tries not to grab the closest sharp object

Yes, I know he had a long day too, but darn it can I at least get a hello kiss or something?!?!   Ok, vent over.  :)

Re: DH makes me want to poke his eyes out sometimes!

  • yeah I hear ya. Last night was night #2 out 3 this week that MH will be working late. and all 3 nights are bath nights for DS so I have to get him ready after getting up before MH, then eat dinner alone, do cleaning and when MH gets home he nit picks the one thing that I didn;t do. Last night it was cat throw up on the carpet. Well at least I soaked it with carpet cleaner.
