How was your trip??? I totally forgot about you Crying  I had to fly home unexpectedly that weekend. What did you do, where did you eat? Spill the beans!

    We had a blast!!!!

    We got there late morning on Wednesday grabbed a quick lunch at McDonald's, nutritious, I know and then went to the Port Discovery Museum. The kids had a blast, even Nate found some fun stuff to play with. Alyssa was especially enamored with the water room and we had to bribe her to leave Wink We had dinner that night at Phillips which was really good. I had this Scallop and Shrimp dish with a Mojito sauce, serious yum and DH said that his steak was good.

    We stayed at the Renaissance which is right on the harbor there and it was a really nice hotel. Seriously, the breakfast buffet that we got the next morning was one of the best buffets I've ever eaten in a hotel and when I was working full time I used to travel a lot.

    Then on Thursday we did the Aquarium. I was wondering if the kids were old enough for it to keep their attention and it totally did. We did the Dolphin Show and they both were absolutely fascinated, it was really cute. About 2/3 of the way through the Aquarium Nate fell asleep and Alyssa declared "no more fishies" but luckily we were at the rainforest section so the monkeys and frogs caught her interest.

    Thanks for the recommendations, we had a really great time, I can't wait to go back over the summer.?

    Awesome! So glad your family had fun. Can't wait till Josie is a bit older, I am dying to check out Port Discovery!
