Formula Coupon question

When you sign up with the various baby formula companies, do you know how long it generally takes to start receiving the formula coupons/checks? $5 a can is a big saving- so its killing me to be wasting money! :-(

    It seems to take FOREVER!  I had a friend sign up for me (so I could get more) when I had Emma and it seemed to take 3-4 months before I started actually getting them.
