How is everyone feeling this week?
QOTW...Have you started on your nursery yet? What have you bought or picked out?
Re: **July Hot Mamas** Check in
Hey girls hope your all doing well this week. I'm feeling good other than feeling very worn out the past week or so. It feels like 1st tri all over again. I have my next appt on Monday.
I am actually starting to paint the nursery today with my moms help. I want to get it all done as soon as I can that way when I'm huge in a few months I can just lay on the couch if I want.
I picked out little Adelaide's nursery bedding a few weeks ago. I am doing the Lady Bug paisley collection from BRU. I also ordered her crib from BRU this past week. I got a Baby Cache crib. It's so fun decorating for a baby girl.
How is everyone feeling this week? I'm doing better than last week. Last night was the best nights sleep I have had in over a week, not that it was fantastic, just better! My stuffy nose is clearing up too! Yay!!! Baby wise, feeling pretty good.

We pulled the carpet up last weekend and ordered the new carpet. It should hopefully be installed the week before my April 26th shower. Purchased paint and a chair rail so I will be painting and hanging that over the corse of the next few weeks and I purchased bins to go on the built in shelving system in the closet as well as hung a 2nd rod to hang clothes on.

I am feeling good, was sick last week. Been walking 3 miles at least 3-5 times a week and watching my bad carb intake since my glucose test is coming up soon.
As far as the nursery, the furniture is being delivered on Friday! We live in a complex & rent, so can't paint the walls. I am having a hard time finding what I want to decorate the nursery with and can't find bedding that isnt too cutesy/gaudy. So, I am leaning towards pastel pink, green and yellow and will probably just buy solids a la carte bed items vs a set. We're hoping to make time to order a glider this weekend or next.
I am feeling okay, I have pretty bad heartburn all the time and am super itchy. The weather is changing too - it's really dry which means I am putting on lotion 10 times a day. My tummy feels chapped which is not much fun. And I think I may be officially past the "cute" stage of being pregnant, I feel huge.
I haven't purchased anything for the nursury yet. We put in the carpet and that's about it. We are just about finished remodelling the rental unit in our duplex and baby room is definitly next! I want to do different shades of green and I love this little chandelier I found from Pottery Barn Kids. I love feminine things but can't handle pink at all.
I'm pretty good. I am getting short of breath and also getting full much quicker. I am going to try and work out today even though I really want to take a nap.
We got our crib and dresser with a changing table this weekend! It's beautiful and a nice solid crib. I can't wait to start decorating. I agree, buying for a girl is so much fun!
I have missed a lot of check-in's lately....sorry, I just got a new computer because my other one blew up.
To update: I had my amnio at 15 weeks and that came out great and we foud out it's a boy. Everything has been gravy since the amnio. It's like I can finally breathe! I have been feeling pretty good. I have scoliosis, so my back hurts faster than ususal when I am at work. I also have been having a lot of trouble with my sciatic nerve in my hip. The worst of that is that it hurts and wakes me up, then I have to go pee, and then I can hardly sit down to do it when I get there. My poor hubby thinks I am just pathetic, and I guess I am, but I am happy to be so......nothing too bad that I can't handle.
Oh and we are decorating the nursery like it's the inside of a barn and my hubby is doing a mural to look like you are looking out onto a pasture with cows and donkeys (like we have) and the bedding is going to be farm-all tractors. I guess I won't ever be able to use the old line, "were you raised in a barn!!??" lol
Yeesh, I miss checkins all the time too! I'm late for this one, but I'm doing it anyway.
I'm starting to feel really 'pregnant'. like it's hard to get off the couch and everything hurts - my back, my hips, my legs...my hands and feet are swollen a little in the morning, and the carpel tunnel is killing me. I finally got enough sleep last night and oh, it feels so good! My next appointment is april 14th - when I have my 1 hour glucose test! yay!
In the nursery, we have the crib set up (we're early, I know) and DH refinished a dresser/changing table he found in his mom's basement as well as a night stand we bought at a garage sale last year - so we really just need the glider and we'll be all set! Oh and the pack and play - that's what we're going to use in our room for baby at first.
I'm registering for child birth classes today - I can't believe how fast time is going!
