2nd Trimester

I know I was warned, but...

HOLY CRAP! Working, grad school full time, and growing a baby all at once is frickin hard! Every time I get stressed, the baby starts to get really uncomfortable. AND I need my sleep like never before. I need to take it easier or learn not to procrastinate or something. But how hard is not procrastinate when watching your belly is SO much more interesting than reading about the information needs of humanities scholars?

 Vent over. Thank you.

  • I completely understand how you are feeling, I work full-time and go to school part-time and I have toddler at home and a DH that is working crazy hours right now plus just to make it interesting I also get to throw in the odd business trip here and there.  I am freaking exhausted.  I can't wait until the end of April when I am done school.  I will say that thankfully my courses are for my undergrad so they are much less intense.
  • Read to the belly. It's never too soon to introduce them to good literature.  Plus you are using your eyes and ears, making it twice as likely you'll remember.  (I always retyped my notes from class to help me study, but the baby won't enjoy that nearly as much as hearing your voice)

And reward yourself with something yummy after you finish.
