Pregnant after a Loss

Anyone not love their Bella Band?

I got the BE Band from Target, so maybe it's just because it's the "knock-off" but I have to say, it's not love yet.  I wore it on Saturday with jeans, folded in half so it would cover my open fly a bit more (I couldn't even get the jeans zipped).  It kept riding up in the back and down in the front.  Today I'm wearing in over work pants that I can zip, so I'm wearing it full-length/unfolded.  It's rolling up in the back and falling down in the front.  It's getting kind of annoying.  If this keeps up, I might be the crazy loser who is trying to get into maternity pants at 9 weeks.

  • I hated it.  It kept rolling up on me.

  • I was just getting on to post this same thing.  I tried mine out on Saturday and it rode up in the back, so it didn't do much good.  I was thinking about going to get maternity pants, but am afraid they might be too small later in the pregnancy.  At this point I can still button my pants, but at the end of the day they get really snug.  I might just hold out a little while longer and deal with tight pants.

Just got one Friday and I wore it to dinner Friday night without too much trouble. What annoyed me was readjusting it after every bathroom trip. Today for work I just skipped it and I'm wearing my jeans unbuttoned under my shirt!

  • I always wore mine folded in half, with the under layer tucked into my pants and the top layer covering the waistband (and I loved it)... not sure if that's how you wore it with your jeans.  Jeans are difficult; I had to begin incorporating maternity jeans into my wardrobe about a month before I went to maternity dress pants.  Good luck... it's so difficult to find clothes that look okay when you are in that weird place between regular and maternity.
  • you can also use the "rubberband trick" if that's more comfortable for you.
  • Mine worked okay but did require lots of readjustment after bathroom trips or just if I moved around a lot.

  • I wore mine a few times and just wasn't comfortable with it. It moved around and I constantly felt like it was sticking out the bottom of my shirt. I have a casual job and only wear jeans, so that's all I tried it with. I gave up and started wearing maternity jeans at about 10 weeks. I want to be comfortable!
  • I hated mine. It wouldn't stay put and by the time I was pg and showing for the second time it was unnecessary because my maternity started fitting sooner. The first time I was pg, I used it for about 4-6 weeks but still didn't like it because it didn't stay in place.

  • I haven't tried one, so I don't know if it works or not, but around 10 weeks I switched over to maternity jeans and casual pants.  I can wear jeans to work now, so I've got a few pairs and there's the type where I can fold down the top.  They're very comfy and you can't tell with a long shirt.  I'm obviously not in maternity shirts yet, but the pants help.
  • I'm using the rubberband trick and it is working just fine...I am hoping I can use this until I can make it to maternity pants.
  • I hated it!! I got it because so many people raved about it but it just did not work for me...
