Allergy to rice cereal?

I just started rice cereal with my DD 2 days ago and today she has a rash all over her torso. The cereal is the only thing that is new so I am thinking that it must be an allergic reaction. Anyone else experience this? I am going to call her ped. tomorrow but was just curious to see what you thought. Thanks!
