My DS wont sleep at night!

From 2 - 4 mos he was great. Would go down awake and sleep for 8 - 10 hours. As soon as he hit 4 mos that all changed. Now he wont sleep at all. He will go down and after about a hour wakes up and from then on he fusses on and off. I try putting him in his bassinet, swing, car seat, in bed with us, etc. he just fusses, wiggles around so much, etc. It is awful I dread nights. He isnt crying like he is in pain or uncomfortable. I am wondering if he has his days and nights confused. He will take a few cat naps during the day....any advice? I am going to try and let him only take 2 naps a day and see if that helps. It is awful I literally get NO sleep and by the time 7am comes he is finally ready to go to sleep and then my toddler is up...help!

4 month wake ful... Try Healthy Sleep Habit Happy Child... or Ferberizing (it's the right age now) I just let my son talk to himself in the middle of the night and then he puts himself back to sleep... if he starts to cry I let him go for 5 minutes.. usually he'll stop and sleep or I go in... Good luck.
