I was looking at a relative's (not sure exactly how she's related to me) page. She's all Jesus-Jesus-Jesus-Jesus (not that there's anything wrong with that), yet she has three out of wedlock children? (Not that there's anything wrong with that either, just didn't really think the two went hand in hand.)

She mentioned that the two don't go in hand and hand. There are a lot of people who believe that being homosexual and religion wouldn't go hand in hand either just like a lot of people think a lot of other stuff doesn't go hand and hand with religion. But I don't think they shouldn't be able to be "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" b/c of it.
I've found that some Holy rollers like to pick and choose which parts of the "word" apply to them.
edit: or she could say "sh*t happens"... three times. ;-)

I know homosexual people who are religious. However, they don't get the sense they are welcome at any church they want to attend. Some of them to go Anglican churchs because of this. At the other churches, they get preached to about the whole "hate the sin, love the sinner."
I think it would be hard to be a part of a belief system that looked at me as a sinner because of my sexual orientation. I can't speak for homosexuals or religious people, though-so maybe there's more to it than that.
