Dash has started doing this thing in the past two days where it sounds like he is gasping for breath ... yet his monitor isn't going off, he isn't turning blue, and he seems absolutely fine. No fever, etc. Just a long inhalation with a squeak to it.
DH thinks it's just a "Dash thing" that he does now ... DH insisted Dash only did this when he was eating or had to burp, but I kept pointing out when I heard it (like sitting in the car seat this morning).
So, in the absence of actually HEARING how it sounds, would this be something to call the pediatrician about? Or is it a normal baby thing (or a preemie thing) that I shouldn't be overly worried about?
Re: XP: 1m old gasping for breath
I guess I'll call on Monday. But I'm glad to hear he's not the only one who does this!
nope, no reflux. And he wasn't making the noise two weeks ago. It's new.
