How long did you bleed for after labor?

I had an episiotomy (no idea how to spell it!) and I'm wondering how long it will take for my stiches to disolve. I'm also nursing so does that make me bleed even longer? Just wondering how many more packs of pads I should stock up on!!!

My sitches where healed about 14 days they figured... but I was checked at 7 weeks pp and I stopped bleeding around Christmas which was about 5.5 weeks. I had a 1st degree tear and a stitch... It will heal up soon.

I had one small skin tear (2-3 stitches) and I bled for 8 LONG weeks.?

I had a 4th degree tear and bled for 5 weeks.

I bled heavy for 1.5 weeks and just light spotting for 5 weeks. Nursing is supposed to help bleeding... so i have read.

heavy for around 5-7 days and light to spotting for about 6 weeks

2 weeks? Then spotting for another week. I had a 2nd degree tear, but the bleeding wasn't from that.

I had a 2nd degree tear and bled for a full 6 weeks.

I needed pads for about 3 weeks and then needed panty liners for another 3-4 weeks.  The last few weeks were very light and off and on.

I had an episiotomy too. I have no idea when the stitches dissolved. I know I could feel them for about a week. So I don't know if they dissolved after that, or if I just got used to them. I bled for exactly 6 weeks after delivery, but I don't BF.

i only had one stitch. i bled for about a week or two after delivery. i only used the hospital pads for one or two days after i got home, and then just regular thin maxis for a week or two. then pantiliners for probably about a month.
