Is it ok to use self tanner lotions? If so, do you have one to recommend. My legs are pasty white and I really wanna break out the capris soon and not blind anyone haha.

Re: Self tanners?
Here is what I found:
The ingredients in sunless tanners are considered harmless to use during pregnancy. However, many doctors will advise their patients against their use because the jury is out over whether these ingredients actually penetrate the?skin?and enter the bloodstream, or remain superficial. Studies have been carried out and determined that the active ingredient, DHA (dihydroxyacetone) does not penetrate the skin. DHA has been used in cosmetics since 1960 and there have never been any issues reported concerning its absorption into the skin, nor its responsibility for any pregnancy-related problems. If you intend to use sunless tanners during pregnancy, check with your doctor first, as you do with all products you apply on or to your?body. During the first trimester, it?s advisable to avoid using anything for which you may have even a single doubt, because this is the period of pregnancy during which your baby is in its most crucial formative stage.?
