I just got back from my HSG! It was a piece of cake. I didn't feel a thing! In fact, it was so easy that I actually asked them to warn me when the painful part was about to happen and they laughed at me because I was done already! So that was such a relief.
The bad news is that I do have a little polyp that needs to be removed. He said that it probably isn't big enough to be what has been preventing me from getting PG but it may be what has caused my m/c's. So I have to go in to have it removed. So, now we have to avoid TTC this month. I'm so bummed because I was so excited to be trying with Clomid this time.
Oh well, at least it was not devastating news and hopefully it will help us to have a baby that sticks. Just wanted to give you guys an update since I was being such a baby about going.

I'm glad it was painless for you Luna!

Oh I am so glad it didn't hurt!! Maybe you are just super tough?!
Is the procedure a big deal, or is it an in and out type thing will little healing time? I hope that it all goes well and the next BFP is your keeper!!!
Waiting really sucks. But yay for a painless HSG!
Hope we both get to have January babies
Hey Luna - so glad to hear the HSG went well and was a piece of cake for you! As for the polyp, you are right, bad news, but good at the same time - as they can remove it AND it may be the answer to the reason for the m/c's. That is great information - and must be providing a sense of relief for you. Thanks for sharing.
They said that some people find it excrutiating and some have no problem. If you are prone to AF cramps then it is more uncomfortable. I seriously didn't feel a thing. Last night I asked for people's stories and they were quite varied so I didn't know what to expect.
It took 10 minutes start to finish and I hopped up and walked right out. It was no different than a pap smear. I can't believe I was so nervous about it!
