Re: Easter Baskets!!

  • Super cute, I even saw a "Taylor" one! A little price, but cute! I got her a cheapy at Hobby Lobby (40% off) for this year, since she really won't understand. ?Maybe next year :)

  • I should have went the cheapy route also but I'm an impulse shopper which is really bad!! I just ordered one and it was a little more expensive than I thought with the $12 shipping.
  • Those are adorable! We used the same baskets every year growing up. We just left them out for the Easter Bunny to fill, kind of like stockings at Christmas. Does everyone do this or do people get new baskets each year??

I got a $10 one at Michael's with the gingham liner and sent the liner to my cousin who owns a embroidery/screen printing business to put her name on it.

  • I used to use the same one every year. I wanted to start that for T this year, but I never really found one that I loved. ?So, I plan on buying one next year for her to use year after year :)

That's exactly how we did it growing up and I do the same for my kids. I've just got the cheapie ones from Target.

That's a cute idea to get it embroidered though!

  • I think I'll be using it every year for sure.
  • I had planned on using the same one year to year, although I guess it depends on how well they hold up. For the first Easter Hudson just had a cheapy one, but last year I got a bit nicer basket and ordered a gingham liner from Pottery Barn Kids with his name embroidered on it. Hopefully, it will last at least a couple / few years.

  • We have a soft basket from PBK for the boys, but man those things don't hold ANYTHING!  I am going to use them this year but then get some nice baskets after Easter from now on to use.  I am just going to pick up 4 of them...in case I do get my 4 kiddos I want!

    :)

There were 5 of us. I remember my mom had a hellofa time trying to find my youngest sister a basket that matched the rest of ours. Good job thinking ahead and getting all the baskets you may need in the future.?

  • Those are really nice.   I did not even think about a basket.. I have not even found clothes yet.

I love the idea of using the same basket every year, we did not do that, but I love the idea.

I think I am going to get a cheap one this year, and find something nice for next year after Easter.

  • Those are adorable, but I think I plan to hold off on the nice one until next year. Hopefully I can still find a decent cheapy one for this year...... must get on that.

I saw some really nice ones at Target already, from $5.99 to $10.99.  I'm just going to get her one from there, I think; and we did the same thing every year too - same stocking, same Easter basket.  It was something to look forward to!  :)

This is exactly what I was planning on doing (minus the cousin thing ...lol). I have GOT to get to Michael's this weekend!

awesome! Man Target is a bad place for me, I go in for one thing and leave with 20. My DH calls it my home away from home!

  • OMG, those are so cute!  I hope to find a semi nice basket that I can use every year.  There were 5 kids in my family & mom mom just bought the cheapo plastic ones for us to use every year.  Pink for me & blue for the boys.
