I found one on Amazon that I LOVE- but the reviews make it sound like she could grow out of it faaaast...it is the red retro kidkraft one. It has a look that will fit in with our decor ( as much as any play kitchen would...) and my son won't be stuck playing with a girly poo kitchen when he is older. It is inexpensive, though- so I wonder if it is cheapy...
do you have it? do you think it is small? do you reccommend another one?
Re: Non Plastic Play Kitchen Recc's?
Costco used to sell this one and had it on display. It is super small.
We went with the Pastel Kidkraft. Maddie loves it but I hear you on the 'decor issue'. The one I really wanted was the one from Land of Nod but unfortunately that one isn't in the budget.
We got the one from PBK's. It was more expensive than the others but I think this was one of those times that you really do get what you pay for. It's taller than most so I think it will last a lot longer and it's put together really well. We waited until it went on sale and then we used "points" from our credit card to get PBK gift cards.
(FWIW, they play with it every single day. The table I got at a garage sale and the chairs are from Ikea.)
