trivial picture dillema

i share my pictures on shutterfly to all my family, which of course, includes my inlaws.

i tend to take a lot of pictures of my immediate family with Malia and I don't feel comfortable doing that with my mil or fil.  My mil isn't a big picture taker at all, so I don't think to take out my camera when we're together.

but - when i share my pics, I wonder if that goes through her head.  is it rude/unfair?  do i need to get over my uncomfortableness?

oh and we live 4 hrs from ea set of grandparents.  the inlaws were here 2 weeks ago visiting and my parents were here last weekend so it seems really evident when I look at the pics I took.

  • I do the same thing. Like that photo book? I couldn't find any with my fil and smil. Oh darn.

  • I used to do the same thing.  Now I make a point of taking my camera out when they visit, whether they like it or not.  I know they won't be around forever and I want my girls to have pictures of themselves with their grandparents.

  • lizlemon - i need to think of that way.  from M's perspective.  dh doesn't say anything either...I think he knows that I would hand him the camera.

  • DH always ends up taking the pictures of his family with the kids.  The thing is, it is so forced and rushed, that they NEVER and I mean, NEVER turn out nice.  I was actually just teasing him about it last night as I was going through photos from DS's baptism over the weekend.  I try not to let it bother me, it is what it is.
