I can't say I'm irish really, I'm 1/3 asian (chinese and vietnamese) but my gran is 7th generation Australian and not a single one of her lineal ancestors has a drop of non-Irish blood. She might as well have a brogue. And she talks as if she is Irish... even calls Northern Ireland "north of Ireland" like the Republicans did in the early 20th century. Even though the civil war ended the year she was born!
