I am nervous.

So ... I finally got a gopod recommendation on a in-home daycare provider in my area, and called her today. She has one opening - YAY!

However, she has a little boy interviewing for it this afternoon. She said if it didn't work out she would love to meet Jack as see if he would work out for the spot.

So now I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for a call back from this lady ... who sounds PERFECT bytheway. She IS, however, PG, and due in August and would be taking 2 weeks off and then coming back to work with help. She's $30/day for PT care and located on my way into work.

We don't really NEED child care right now ... Jack stays with his Great Grandmothers ... but we DO need a backup, as they're not always healthy, and they have things going on in their lives as well. I also think they spoil him ROTTEN when they keep him, and because of that he's hella fussy with me a lot (since I don't cater to every little fuss he might make).

IDK - I'm rambling now ... I'm just really nervous. I would love for this to work out since finding someone licensed, nice, innexpensive and with an opening, in our area has not been the easiest thing in the world.

?For me, it was the most stressful thing yet, about having T. ?I totally understand. ?She was at a not so great place for the first month or so. I swear that is what made my PPD/Anxiety spiral. ?But there is good care out there, just TRUST your Mommy instincts. ?If you just aren't 100%, then it's not right. ?I wish I would have done that. ?Hang in there, and you'll find a great place. ?We LOVE the place T is at now.

We live in East Dallas, and I work in central Dallas near 75/Mockingbird. It does *seem* like something good does work out for everyone in the end, even if takes up to the last moment. Here's hoping that holds true for Totty + Jack, for me, and for everyone else out there. Well, not the last moment part!
