I travel for work and am gone sometimes 1-2 nights once a month. I've been trying to pump and can get between 2.5-4oz depending on the time of day. I do compressions, trigger a second letdown, drink a ton of water, yadda yadda. Since Feb 3rd, I've only been able to get about 60oz total. I've not been religious about pumping after every single morning feeding as it depends on DD and if she falls back asleep or not. If not, I'm pretty much up a creek as she's a pretty fussy baby that has to be held all the time.
I return back to work in 6 weeks and need to make sure that I have at least 60oz in 9 weeks not to mention enough for emergencies and an occassional evening away from DD. What do you do to build your stash and how much are you able to save up in a month? Anything else I should be doing?
Re: Building Freezer Stash ?s
The #1 thing you should be doing is NOT stressing about making a huge stash. DD is 15 mos and has recently stopped taking EBM so I have 1,000 oz in the freezer going to be wasted. Booooo
I wish I had not freaked out about my stupid freezer stash as much as I did!
