My baby came early!! PIP and birth story

So my little one was due 3-30 but he came on Monday the 9th! On friday the 7th my dr said he wanted to see me again mon for a blood pressure check and urine check since I was showing slightly elevated levels. I came back after teaching all day Mon and he said I was 3 cm dialated and 75 percent effaced and to head over to labor and delivery because he wanted to go ahead and induce me. I was 37 weeks exactly. I called my DH and then went to the hospital where they set me up on the ivs. Within an hour I was contracting every minute and they were strong. I wanted to try to hold out and go natural but after three hours of that I was getting really really worn out. I got the epi but it took three tries to get it in because my contractions were right on top of one another. Then I felt amazing, no pain at all for about two hours. I decided my hubby should go get himself some dinner since the cafeteria was closed and so I told him to go ahead because they had just checked me and I was only 5 cms. He left and I decided to try to take a little nap. I flipped to my right side in the bed and BAM felt a HUGE contraction and then two more. I was like WTH? where did my epi go all the sudden?! Then I felt a ton pf pressure so I called the nurse who came and checked me and said I was TEN cm and his head was right there and I needed to start pushing. I told her I WAS NOT pushing without my husband! lol so I called him and he ran out of Arby's and came back just intime for the bed to be broken down and the dr to walk in. About ten pushes later Mason was born. On the last push the dr said I was going to tear if he didnt cut me so I said whatever go ahead! He was 6 pound 6 ounces and 19 inches. He came out screaming and got a 9.9 apgar. I couldnt believe that amazing thing came out of me. He's so beautiful and I just want to kiss his face off. Big Smile

Only bad things I really can say about everything so far is that I got the major' itchies' after the epi was taken out and wanted to claw my skin off for about four hours. Oh and the fact that it stopped working when it got time to push...

-night number two at home and breastfeeding was ROUGH. Here's hoping tonight goes more smoothly. My DH and I and DS were all in tears at 4 am last night. Sad
