how long are you taking off after? I only get 6-8 weeks

    Well I am sort of off now, I'm on minimal activity orders. So then after Wes gets here I'll be off for minimum 12 weeks. In California we get 6-8 weeks disability and then another 6 weeks for bonding time. This is all paid at 55%. I have no benefits through my work though..

    Yes, I have to... I make more than DH so... but the highlight is he is a teacher and by the time I go back, he will be off for the summer. I get 60% paid but I wish I could stay longer... My little man will be all Ithink about the entire time I am at work.

    yeah, I don't even want to think about putting my 3-month old in day care, but I know we have to. We have to pay the mortgage! ;-)

    We are lucky to not need to have daycare... we are using his mother. I hope my baby isnt too fat for her
