Night 1 of weaning = success

I decided to start weaning Connor last night.  He's been down to 1 nursing session right before bed for forever now.  DH kept him home from daycare yesterday and the two of them played so hard.  When it was time for bed I picked Connor up and cuddled him for a little bit.  He looked up at me with those big blue eyes and said "Nurse?".  I told him that nurse was all gone.  He didn't fight me one bit.  He just snuggled in, closed his eyes and went to sleep.  I'm not sure if it was so easy because he was so tired or if he didn't really care but I hope tonight goes just as easy.  Cross your fingers.
