(speaking of FILs)

This is what my FIL said to the hubby today.  Umm...what is there to think through now?  We tried for months for this baby... it is all we have been thinking/talking/dreaming/planning about.

So, so far from the FIL and the stepmonster we have a:

 "was this planned?" - stepmonster, at hubby's birthday dinner

"Have you thought this through yet?" - father in law

 Gotta love it!!

haha - my Mom recently started telling me why I could have waited until after 30 to start trying.   I was like "What are you doing?  Are you trying to talk me out of being pregnant?"

Yea, I got those kinda questions too...and even some "not talking to"

It will pass tho..it only took my fam a few days....it certainly takes some of the joy away from things tho...

That sucks   this is why I`m waiting as long as possible to tell anyone including parents and inlaws!!

Try not to look too deeply into it; people have asked us this question too.  Mostly acquaintances we don't know very well (like what kind of sex we've been having is any of their business  )

We haven't told our parents yet because we're not far enough along, but my mom for months has been telling me how she can't believe so many people are pregnant in this economy. (she didn't know we were trying) so, i'm nervous about what she will say.  stinks that people just can't be happy!

That's too funny!  Like you're going to go: "You're right...we didn't think it through enough, lets's wait a little longer."  It's a little late now!

This is the exact reason I haven't told my mom yet.  We were in JC Penneys on Saturday and my daughter made a comment about wanting a baby sister, and my mom said, " I hope you are not pregnant, in this economy the results would be disasterous"  I just made up my mind right then and there to put her on the 'People we tell after the first trimester' list.
