Almost 31w - is this "lightning crotch"?

I am not sure what this is I'm feeling, but since I am so anxious about having these babies early, I thought I would ask you all.

Occassionally, I get quick pains in my crotch, almost like I'm about to pee my pants or something. It's not really very painful, but I haven't felt it before, so I'm just wondering if it's anything to worry about.

When I had mine, it literally felt like an electric shock!  It was really quick pain that usually came every few seconds for 20 seconds or so (I usually had to switch positions or walk around the house).

ah yes! fun times! i got that and never had any cervical shortening. i believe it was actually getting kicked in the cervix. once the babies moved around so that their feetsies weren't in my cervix, the lightning stopped. at least, that was my experience.

Both of my boys are breech and I sit up straight when then are kicking me "down there"  I feel as though a foot is going to come out. 

 I am not sure if this is what you are feeling.  I never mind the kicks elsewhere but I won'tmiss those.

I get that too.  Baby A is breech and he kicks my cervix and bladder ALL the time.  I think that's what it is.  Sometimes it hurts like you wouldn't believe.  Like one of the pp said, it's almost like a foot is going to come flying out!

It sounds like what I've had for a couple of months, and my Baby B (Charlotte) is breech.  LOL at some of the other PPs.  It does feel sometimes like a baby should just drop out at any second, but I'm still only dilated 1 cm.
