Twins + Crib/Pack n Play

I plan on buying 1 crib and 1 pack n play for my twins. I know this will be ok for a while but at what point do you think I will need seperate cribs? and will it be necessary to get another pack n play?

What age did you need another crib for your twins?

we separated ours at about 3 months when they got too long to fit sideways.

We seperated our twins at about 7 weeks.  They would wiggle around and there would be a head by someone else's feet.  Not good!

I'm hoping to hold off till they're 5-6 months old but it might be sooner than that because I think in a couple more months they will be too long to fit sideways in their shared crib.

We seperated them at about 2.5 months.  They were in the PNP or carseats before then and I transistioned them into their cribs at 2.5 months.  They are too long to be in a crib together.

I think I will register for/buy two cribs, but only put one together before they are born and store the other until I need it.
