Is a bloody nose pregnancy related?

I haven't had a bloody nose in years and I just had one. I think I may remember hearing that it could be pregnancy related. Has this happened to anyone?

Yeah it's in all my books. Totally normal.

I haven't had a full blown bloddy nose but there is often a bit of blood on the tissue when I blow my nose. It has only been happening lately so I was also wondering if it was pregnancy related. hmmm.

due to the increased blood flow, yes it's normal.

I have heard of it being normal in pregnancy but have never personally experienced a nose bleed while pregnant.

I haven't had one, but it is in all the books-- increased blood flow-- so totally normal.

Also, hormones produced during pregnancy cause the blood vessels to come closer to the surface. I had 3 nose bleeds in a week. Totally normal.

Yep, I've had one or two almost every week while pregnant. Lovely!
