First day back at work

So weird being away from all the kiddies today!  It was  hard leaving them, but even harder dealing with the logistics of leaving in the morning. Here's the rundown:

6:45 wake up and shower

7:00 attempt to do makeup and blowdry hair

7:05 Poppy wakes up. BF her while MH takes shower. Hear DS calling for me from his crib.

7:15 Go get DS, change him and bring him to our bedroom to watch Dora while we get ready

7:30 Finish makeup and hair while MH watches DS and Poppy.

7:45 DS plays with said makeup and spills whole tub of loose powder eyeshadow EVERYWHERE. I clean it up and change his clothes again.

8:00 Nanny arrives  -- yay!! Send DS downstairs with her for breakfast. Feed Poppy a bottle.

8:15 MH leaves for work.

8:30 Gather all of my stuff for work, get DS coat on and try to get out the door.

8:45 Finally in car and drop off DS at preschool at 9. Arrive at my office at 9:30.

Stella sleeps through the entire thing.

Crazy, huh? The good news is that I didn't stress once.
